The brain stereotaxic instrument is a device used to locate and fix the brain of experimental animals. During the experiment, the brain locator is first used to fix the animal's head so that it does not move relative to the animal. Then, the three-dimensional coordinate system specified by the marks on the outside of the animal's skull or other reference points is used, and the location of certain nerve nuclei under the cerebral cortex, such as the hippocampus, is determined according to the brain localization map of the experimental animal, so as to stimulate, destroy, inject drugs, guide and locate the studied nerve nuclei in a directional manner under non-direct exposure. It can be used for the establishment of animal models of Parkinson's disease, epilepsy, brain tumor models, learning and memory, brain neural stem cell transplantation, cerebral ischemia and other studies.
